Environmental Safety:
Services: Occupational safety and health programs, faculty and staff education and training, environmental pollution prevention, monitoring and management, environmental education promotion, and greenery beautification at the Taipei Campus.
Service Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.
Location: Taipei Campus - 1F, Administrative Building.
Health Care:
Services: First aid treatment, emergency injury assistance, provision of medical information, medical equipment lending, health consultation and nutrition consultation.
Service Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 22:00; Saturday, 09:00 - 17:00 (excluding public holidays), with no breaks during the noon hours.
Locations: Taipei Campus - 1F, Wu-Yu Building; Taoyuan Campus - 1F, Hung-Yi Building.
History:
◆On November 6, 2012, the Environmental Safety and Health Center, Office of General Affairs was established as a second-tier unit.
◆On August 1, 2015, the Environmental Safety and Health Center, Office of General Affairs was renamed the Environmental Safety Division, remaining a second-tier unit under the Office of General Affairs.
◆On August 1, 2019, the Environmental Safety Division was upgraded back to the Environmental Safety and Health Center and became a first-tier unit.
◆On February 1, 2023, the Health Care Division under the Office of Student Affairs merged into the Environmental Safety and Health Center, with the establishment of the Environmental and Health Care Division.
Vision
Guided by the six major areas of school health promotion, the center aims to promote the health and safety of faculty, staff and students; implement campus occupational safety and health management and training; enhance safety and health knowledge among faculty and staff; and cultivate a sustainable safety culture on campus.
